Gray hair can turn yellow as residue that is left behind on your hair from other products, leaving you with a brassy, dull appearance. Products such as shampoo, conditioners, hair spray, mousse, and gels are some common culprits, depositing yellow shades into your hair shafts. Yellow hair can also be caused as your hair picks up particles from the environment. Chlorine, minerals and other chemical residues in water, sunlight, and even oils from your scalp can give gray, silver and white hair a yellowish, brassy look. Vitamins that are high in beta carotene and some medication can cause some yellowing. This gray hair shampoo will gently remove this unwanted buildup from your hair to reveal a new, true, radiant you. |
So far I like this conditioner though I may try it more just on the ends. I am having to wash my hair more often as this seems to weight it down. Though it does help with the gray frizz! I gave the shampoo 5 stars and gave this just 4 since it does weight my hair down. LynneM |
